I found the anxiety of undergoing initial tests

very daunting. I definitely had the case of the "What ifs!" My mind went to the worst case scenarios at the best of times. However,these scriptures gave me peace during this time.

I get frustrated by waiting a few seconds, for a page on online to refresh; let alone waiting for test results that may change my future. The journey of waiting is tough, messy and filled with a plethora of emotions. These scriptures gave me the strength to persevere through these trials.

When I heard the doctor say that they found cancer cells, my entire body went into shock and I had felt betrayed by my body and truthfully by God. I became a Christian 14 years ago and I was convinced that my prayer for good health would give me immunity. These scriptures renewed my mind.

During my treatment, I found the lack of physical energy incredibly difficult. The nausea was tough, but this was an area I was instantly comforted by reading and speaking out the word.

After every chemo session, I knew that my body needed time to recover and heal, so I can be ready for the next cycle. These moments were at times were frustrating as I hoped to do more, but I managed to solider through with the word.

Future of hope, love and all things come with a choice we are presented with. I learned after my second cycle of chemo that I needed to chose life and cling on to the goodness of God and get rid of anything that doesn't lead to life.
